Job Description :

We are recruiting for a Product Configuration Specialist to document, manage and control product lifecycle, ensuring that all design, engineering, and manufacturing changes are properly reviewed, meets regulations, approved, and documented.

Specifically, this position will:

  • Oversee the creation, revision, accuracy, and approval of engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation for the product line.
  • Ensure strategic alignment and consistent tactical support, including facilitating and coordinating with Change Management Initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace industry standards, such as AS9100, and government regulations.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to configuration management activities, including change requests, configuration status, and audit findings.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of configuration management processes.

Ideally, candidates should possess:

  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and tools.
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency with configuration management software and tools; ERP and PLM system experience
  • Ability to write and read English.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in configuration management within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Professional certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII) is a plus.

This position offers a salary of $81-91K with a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription insurance, a 401K plan, and paid days off.
