We are hiring passionate professionals for the Operations Specialist II position at our office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
As part of this role, you will be directly involved in managing customer orders, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless communication with teams across the U.S. and Mexico. This is a customer-centric position that requires strong communication skills, collaboration with logistics teams, and attention to detail. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to process automation projects and improve operational efficiency. Suzano is a company where you will have room to grow within and outside this role!
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (mandatory).
- Fluent English (mandatory); intermediate Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge areas: SAP ERP/BW and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience:
- Two years of experience in ocean and domestic freight, including working with 3PL providers.
- Understanding different customer accounts.
- Tools: Advanced Excel (important); Power BI is an asset.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. and Mexico customers, handling daily tasks such as receiving orders, scheduling, processing, and managing customer conditions and plans.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to follow up on railcar and truck deliveries, ensuring on-time performance and resolving any delays.
- Invoice customers and manage accounts receivable, collecting evidence and ensuring payments are processed.
- Work closely with the planning team to organize shipment schedules and track deliveries.
- Analyze shipping, tracking, invoicing, and 3PL provider reports to identify and address gaps in the supply chain.
- Gather feedback from customers to enhance their experience and support process improvements.
- Participate in automation projects to streamline operations.
