Job Title: Contract Specialist
Location: White Plains, NY (Candidates are REQUIRED to be local to Tri-State area)
Duration: 12 months (Contract)
Responsibilities:
- Perform QA/QC on memorandums and proposals.
- Support RFPs, including coordinating meetings, commenting on Scopes of Work (SOWs), and checking RFP packages.
- Create and verify purchase requisitions in SAP.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across Operations, Procurement, and Legal departments.
- Review, interpret, and research contract terms and conditions.
- Monitor contract expirations and ensure timely renewals or adjustments.
- Learn and implement new software to improve contract processes and management.
- Develop contracting mechanisms and strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Design and streamline processes and procedures to reduce cycle time.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize MS 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint Lists, Power Automate).
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn SAP ERP.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to navigate complex policies and create efficient processes and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering) required.
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and/or project management.
- Experience in standardizing processes and procedures is preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
