GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Brand Manager will contribute and assist in brand management, marketing and product strategy for Naterra brands. This all-encompassing marketing role will assist in the development of marketing campaigns, promotions, communication materials, PR, and social media campaigns. This position will coordinate with the Sales Team on channel/retailer/country specific strategies and launch activations. Additionally, the Assistant Brand Manager will work closely with Product Development personnel to drive line extensions and introduce innovation to portfolio.
This is not a remote or hybrid role. Please note that the person in this role will be required to work in-office at our Coppell or Alliance location 5-days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Manage development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that deliver a positive brand experience for consumers and achieve strategic corporate objectives.
- Manage marketing/project master brand materials, guidelines, project trackers and budgets
- Work with Sales to produce, update and distribute marketing/promotional materials, presentations, product samples and sell sheets that help drive distribution and sales at key retail accounts.
- Alignment of internal and external partners to develop and implement marketing programs, media plans, PR events and creative elements.
- Collaborate with Product Development personnel to drive new product development process from concept through launch. This includes research and analysis to inform the development of unique products and creative packaging that add consumer value versus best competition.
- Evaluate market trends and consumer behavior to identify key opportunities across consumer segments.
- Develop key brand strategies, marketing plans and campaigns that will drive Naterra growth and disrupt existing category leaders.
- Coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects within cost/margin objectives and effectively communicate updates and changes.
- Track and analyze brand performance and marketing effectiveness of campaigns against ROI objectives and apply learnings to future strategy.
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or brand management
- Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
- Social media experience managing content for a brand or public-facing account
