Position Overview: The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for the full scope of human resources responsibilities for the company. This is a hands-on role that will optimize all talent, recruiting, compliance, regulatory, training, and development for all organizational levels. The Director will develop and deliver a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the company's business strategy and will work closely with various departments to drive HR programs, practices, processes, and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Continually strive to improve all HR processes and programs, and identify and implement new ones, including career development, employee benefits, and other processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as HR Director or other senior HR roles in an organization with more than 150 employees.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience with employees in warehouse fulfillment or manufacturing is preferred.
- An undergraduate degree in human resources, organizational development, business, psychology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- HR certifications are preferred through organizations such as SHRM, HRCI, etc.
