Job Summary:

The IT Compliance Specialist is responsible for executing compliance and audit activities within the IT department.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and oversee monthly, quarterly semi-annual and annual audit requests and activities (including (but not limited) control evidence)
  • Participate with internal and external audits to ensure compliance of policies and standards
  • Coordinate the provision of audit evidence and ensure quality of narratives during period of audit
  • Work with internal audit and IT-management teams to resolve/mitigate any findings as needed
  • Work with all IT-teams to ensure all IT related procedures and documentation is correct
  • Create and maintain relationship with different teams within the business that support the completion of audit reviews and activities
  • Supports the overall rollout and adoption of computer systems by ensuring the required SOX documentation is in place and processes are followed
  • Perform compliance reviews as required, such as IT access and transactional updates in Production Environments
  • Provide and review memo's to describe compliancy of infrastructure and applications
  • Adhere to company policies and processes including change control, security, corporate policies, and Sarbanes Oxley 404
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Accounting/Finance background or experience
  • Relevant Bachelor level qualifications
  • SOX Controls experience
  • Vocational professional with general knowledge in the field of expertise and task focused or specific planning, organizing and integrating knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels in the organization and strong relationship building abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, keep organized records, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Strong sense of problem ownership and responsibility.
  • Strong sense of 'Service Culture'
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
