Position: Financial Systems Analyst
Location: Ocoee, FL, 34761 (Onsite)
Duration: 11+ Months Contract
Role & Responsibilities
The Systems Analyst will play a critical role in the Financial Books and Records (FB&R) Transformation initiative, supporting the Florida Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) transition to the Florida PALM (Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management) system. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to manage the transition of FTE's financial processes to the new statewide ledger platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop current and future state process maps of FTE's financial operations to identify and implement process efficiencies.
Conduct a comprehensive analysis of FTE's Budget processes.
Support the migration of financial data to the new system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Identify the change impact of current to future Chart of Account (COA) structure related to all budget processes.
Design, develop and code the financial process utilizing databases, excel, SQL,
Develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.
Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
Collaborate with the Florida PALM Project Team and FTE stakeholders to ensure successful transition.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in systems analysis or financial reporting.
Demonstrated Advanced Excel and Access Skills
Demonstrated process and data mapping experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle or Transformation Implementations
Power Query, PowerPivot is a plus
Process modeling software such as IBM Blueworks or Visio
