Custom Applicator Responsibilities:
- Accurately blend, load, and apply fertilizer and chemicals according to manufacturer and grower specifications.
- Collaborate with sales staff to plan and coordinate application and delivery schedules.
- Assist with monthly inventory management for seed, chemical, and fertilizer.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure reliable performance and operational safety.
- Maintain detailed records of products applied, field locations, and equipment maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols, regulations, and environmental guidelines to uphold a culture of safety and regulatory adherence.
- Provide backup support to operations staff as needed.
Custom Applicator Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license with clean record.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have Commercial Applicator's License or ability to obtain
- Must have Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Experience with drone application is a plus!
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and effective teamwork skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that require standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, and reaching in challenging areas.
