We are currently looking for a skilled Supply Chain Director to join our team and help oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process, manage supplier relationships, ensure efficient logistics, and develop strategies to improve operational performance. You will lead a team to drive cost reduction, enhance inventory management, and ensure timely delivery of products across all stages of the supply chain. Job Summary: As the Supply Chain Director at Team Kline, you are responsible for the overall strategy, development, and optimization of our enterprise-wide supply chain operations across all locations. Your leadership will ensure the alignment of supply chain processes with the company's strategic goals, driving efficiencies, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction at the national level. You will oversee the entire supply chain ecosystem, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution, ensuring seamless collaboration across all locations to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company's objectives across all five locations. Focus on cost reduction, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction at an enterprise level.
  • Manage supplier relationships across the entire company, negotiate contracts, and optimize sourcing processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations across multiple locations.
  • Create, implement, and standardize supply chain processes across all locations to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and ensure timely product delivery. Foster interdepartmental coordination to align operations with corporate growth strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and enhance order fulfillment processes, ensuring efficient demand alignment and timely delivery across all locations.
  • Oversee and mentor a diverse and distributed team, including branch and warehouse managers, purchasing agents, and logistics professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and cost reduction. Drive performance across all locations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, sales, and IT teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations that align with broader business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in all supply chain functions, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across all locations. Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • 15+ years of supply chain experience.
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement, logistics, and inventory control.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills focused on development and performance.
    • Expertise in negotiation and supplier relationship management.
    • Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and continuous improvement.
    • Must pass the company's fleet insurance check for insurability. Physical Requirements:
      • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
      • Ability to travel for site visits, supplier meetings, and logistics oversight.
      • Prolonged use of computers and office equipment. Work Environment:
        • Primarily office-based with occasional visits to warehouse facilities.
        • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
        • Some exposure to noise and temperature variations in production areas.
