Job Overview – Superintendent (Construction):
Join our client as a Superintendent in Philadelphia, PA, managing multi-prime commercial construction projects. In this role, you will oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000/year + bonus
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities as the Superintendent (Construction):
- Project Management: Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring projects meet plans, timelines, and specifications.
- Team Coordination: Lead subcontractors and staff, promoting collaboration and accountability.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to maintain or exceed construction quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Scheduling and Communication: Manage project schedules and serve as the on-site liaison for clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications for the Superintendent (Construction):
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in commercial construction specializing in high-impact construction initiatives (prior experience managing multi-prime contracts is highly desirable).
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with adaptability and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 certification required (additional safety certifications preferred).
