Our client is a leading manufacturer of production machinery and robotics, they are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their team on a full-time, direct hire basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create detailed electrical sensor layouts, help with generating electrical schematics for conveyor systems and other machines.
- Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices using Rockwell software.
- Design and develop electrical control systems for new and existing products.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science in Controls or Electrical Engineering preferred
- 3 or more year's experience in a similar or related role
- Proficiency in programming PLCs (Primarily Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMIs.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
