Job Summary:Preferred Care at Home- Wyoming Valley seeks a compassionate and skilled Caregiver/Direct Care Worker to provide personalized care and support to individuals in their homes. This part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position is in Pittston, Pennsylvania. The selected individual will deliver exceptional care and promote a safe and healthy living environment for our clients.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a competitive hourly starting rate range of $11.00 - $13.00. Additional benefits may include access to healthcare benefits, paid time off, and flexible scheduling options.Responsibilities:

Provide non-medical in-home and/or community care to the agency's service recipients

Be prompt to scheduled visits and notify the supervisor immediately when unable to do so

Be familiar with all rules, policies, and procedures in providing the services

Follow the service plan of the individual service recipient

Keep all records and names of service recipients confidential unless authorized by the service recipient's written consent

To immediately report any incident of injury to the service recipient or yourself to the supervisor

To report any suspicion of abuse or neglect to appropriate authorities and the supervisor
