Job Type Full-timeDescriptionOverviewAssist with the ingestion, review, and delivery of short-form media, including promos, commercials, interstitials, and other brief media falling under the duration of traditional programming-length content.Responsibilities
- Assist with the ingestion, review, trimming, and delivery of promos and commercials via Crispin Loading Dock.
- Verify that commercials comply with S&P broadcast standards, including product types, claim veracity, contact information accuracy, and spot durations.
- Ensure on-air promo accuracy including spot lengths, broadcast days and times, and presence of appropriate TV Rating Bug.
- Update promo status and support communication with Creative Team via the Creative Services Monday board.
- Apply guidelines consistently and escalate questionable content to the Short Form Manager for review and final approval or rejection.
- Assist the Short Form Manager in the development and implementation of processes and contribute to special projects as needed.
Work EnvironmentRemote work two days per week, with three days per week in the office. Normal office environment.RequirementsEducation & Experience
- Previous experience in TV broadcasting in Commercial Clearance, Standards & Practices, Log Management, Ad Sales Operations, and/or Log Copy Editing.
- Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, communications, advertising or a related field, and previous relevant experience required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to assess and prioritize daily workflows under the guidance of the Short Form Manager, including planned and unexpected tasks.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills to meet pressing deadlines and adapt to varying workloads.
- Proficient in computer skills to retrieve programming and ratings information and assist in compiling, distributing, and storing program content information.
- Possess keen attention to detail and deductive reasoning skills to identify content that doesn't fall under current S&P guidelines and escalate concerns as needed.
- Demonstrates sound judgment in executing tasks and supporting team goals.
