The Cure Room Lead manages the drying and curing process under the supervision of the Quality Control Manager (QCM). The Lead is responsible for overseeing all the dry rooms/cure rooms throughout the facility.
Essential Duties
- Supervises Cure Room technicians
- Ensures that Cure Team is inspecting the dry rooms humidity, temperature, moisture, and lights at start of day and end of day.
- Adjusts dry rooms controllers, if necessary, based off the flowers moisture level and environment.
- Takes data recordings of relative humidity, temperature, moisture readings and any other data points listed on batch trackers.
- Communicates with management.
- Trains and supervises technicians to be able to monitor dry rooms and report conditions.
- Ensures that technicians properly do burping.
- Follows cleaning procedures.
- Ensures consistent quality of product and meets companys standards.
- Follows all safety protocols and trains technicians.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check
- Passion for the craft of drying and curing cannabis flower.
- Identify A grade, B grade and C grade flower.
- Identify the difference between flower, popcorn, shake and trim.
- Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.
- Must perform under high pressure situations.
- Ability to stay focused
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be a team player with a can do attitude
- Available to work weekends and holidays as needed

- Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred
- Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
