Ellison Medical Institute invites applications from qualified physicians for the position of Director of Preventative Medicine.

Ellison Medical Institute is seeking a dynamic and dedicated physician to join their esteemed team. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend clinical excellence with innovation and technology development. The Director will lead the creation and implementation of high-impact and forward-thinking patient care protocols focused on risk assessment and prevention, build meaningful relationships with patients and contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the clinic and preventative health program as part of a collaborative team.

The Director of Preventative Medicine will play a pivotal role in leading clinical initiatives to establish best practice for preventative health and cancer survivorship. This position combines leadership in clinical operations with a strong emphasis on advancing the current standard of care though evaluation and implementation of novel technologies and diagnostics.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a medical degree from an accredited medical school, be eligible for a California medical license, and be board certified in Internal Medicine or Preventative Medicine.

Other desired qualifications are as follows:

  • 3+ years in outpatient preventative health.
  • Focus on high-risk patients, cancer prevention, cancer survivorship is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of clinical care, including disease prevention strategies, early detection methodologies, and patient-centered care approaches.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, patients, and the community.
  • Ability to translate research findings into practical applications for patient education and preventive care programs.
