One of the largest metals distributors in the US is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join their team in Kansas City, MO. Their 220,000 square foot Kansas City location has been serving customers in Missouri and the surrounding area since 1965.They provide metals, services and parts to a wide range of industries, such as transportation, construction, mining machinery, beverage processing equipment and recreational boating. The right candidate for this position is a strong leader looking to join a company and who wants hit the ground running in a leadership role.The ideal candidate will embrace operational excellence while focusing on safety, quality, employee development and lean process improvement. This role is a key member of the leadership team for each location. In addition to overseeing daily operations, there is significant value placed on having a strategic long-term vision to ensure continued success of the facility and organization.Base salary, $110K - $130K with a 17.5% bonus; full benefits are offered.Monday - Friday 7am - 5pmThe Location is Kansas City, MO.
