Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ohio. This role involves designing, developing, and testing electrical systems for a variety of applications, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work on a range of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for various projects.
- Analyze system performance and implement improvements to optimize functionality and efficiency.
- Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout designs.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger product designs.
- Maintain detailed documentation for designs, test results, and system configurations.
- Ensure all designs meet project timelines and budget requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, circuit theory, and power systems.
- Proficiency with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).
- Experience with testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters) and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as NEC, UL, and IEEE.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with embedded systems, PCB design, or control systems.
- Familiarity with renewable energy systems, automation, or IoT technologies.
