DescriptionHome Visitor Specialist - Pro Action's Resilient Children and Families Home Based program is accepting applications for the role of Home Visitor Specialist. This position provides direct supervision and support of home visiting staff to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations, as well as Pro Action policies and procedures. The HV Specialist will ensure that staff who work directly with enrolled families receive the support and training they need to successfully perform their role. Confirm that staff support the individual plans and activity choices of enrolled families. Support staff in providing information about community service agencies to families. Responsible for reviewing reports and files to verify documentation of staff efforts in establishing family partnerships and effective goal setting processes and that staff follow established program policies and regulations. Conduct and maintain documentation of staff supervisory conferences and performance appraisals. Support program recruitment efforts.RequirementsA minimum of an Associate Degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred, a combination of experience and education may be considered. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of community resources, strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, families, and community partners. Experience in home visiting as well as supervisory experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate must have a driver's license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
