**Job Title:** Physician **Job Specialty:** Family Practice **Job Duration:** 3 months, possibility to extend **Shift:** Day, 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours/week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with face-to-face patient contact within the past year **License:** Active WA license required **Certifications:** Will be discussed during credentialing **Must-Have:** - Board Certification required - Active WA DEA required - Clean background with no malpractice - COVID and flu vaccination required **Job Description:** - Provide outpatient ambulatory services in a Community Health Center setting - See up to 21 patients per day, working with a patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics - Support includes a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and access to an onsite pediatrician in most clinics - Serve vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, with interpretative services available - Perform basic bread and butter procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care - Use the EPIC EMR system - Participate in family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, and chronic disease management - Undergo a 1-week ramp-up and onsite orientation, expected to begin patient care by day 3 - Must be comfortable handling a fast-paced environment and higher patient volume - Travel logistics covered, including flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging for non-local candidates - Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus **Practice Setting:** Outpatient ambulatory setting in a community health center. **Travel Logistics:** Includes flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging. **Additional Notes:** Confirm comfort with patient quota rule before committing to an interview to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to expectations.
