About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to work closely with the Founder/President and the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigating the national wholesale sales landscape, with a significant focus on traveling to key markets. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the wine industry, particularly in the areas of branding, promotions, and strategic planning. The CEO will also be involved in all aspects of the winery operation, from setting financial objectives to overseeing the national sales department and working with the DTC team on consumer and trade experiences. Building and maintaining relationships both inside and outside the company, including with the press, key accounts, and industry leaders, is a crucial part of the job.The ideal CEO for the company will be a dynamic and enthusiastic leader, with a strong work ethic and a proven track record in the wine business. They should be motivated to succeed, with a collaborative and inclusive approach, and a strong preference for teamwork over isolation. The role demands a professional with integrity, strong ethics, and a passion for the wine industry, particularly for the styles and methods of the region. The CEO will be expected to be a quick study, with the ability to process information and turn it into organized plans, and to be a creative storyteller with a marketing mindset. Extensive travel is a requirement, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
