Role Summary
The Regional Medical Scientific Director is a credentialed (i.e., PhD, PharmD, DNP, MD) therapeutic and disease expert who engages in bidirectional exchange of scientific or medical information with Scientific Leaders (SLs). The role provides balanced, factual, scientific information about non-product areas of interest to the Company and replies to scientific questions from SLs, including questions about Company products. The work of a Regional Medical Scientific Director is aligned to: Scientific Exchange, Research, Scientific Congress Support, and Scientific Insights.
Regional Medical Scientific Directors liaise between the scientific community and the Company to enhance the comprehension of scientific foundations and goals for approved, in-development, and active Company-sponsored trials and/or investigator-sponsored research studies. The Regional Medical Scientific Director serves as a role model for other field medical team members in ways that include onboarding and/or sharing of therapeutic expertise.

Regional Medical Scientific Directors have no sales objectives or accountability for prescribing or sales of any company product and are required to avoid any situations that could create the appearance that they have such responsibilities. A Regional Medical Scientific Director may not comment on or make suggestions with respect to the diagnosis, treatment, or circumstances of a specific patient.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.
The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range: $181,600.00 - $285,800.00
Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
