About the Company Hiring: Our client is a national consumer products manufacturer operating multiple plant and distribution facilities throughout the US. They are poised for significant expansion and growth that will double their volume by 2030.
About the Job: As part of the senior leadership team, you will oversee a crucial role that manages demand, procurement, distribution and logistics over multiple warehousing hubs covering 8 hubs in the US. Running a lean and highly efficient team, the VP will maintain demand and work with senior operations members to plan production, coordinate supplier and vendor contracts, ensure all customer demands are met consistently and establish processes and planning to meet the increased volume of the organization's goals.
Key Success Attributes:
· Proven manufacturing supply chain operations experience leading teams for a high volume, multi-location production business ideally in the domestic CPG space
· Strong planning and execution skills covering strategic supplier agreements, resource planning/commodities contracts, production scheduling/distribution & outsourced channels and partners.
· Executive committee presentation ability including effective synthesis of data and KPIs to relate accurate short- and long-term forecasting for leadership
· Strong team player and collaborator who can work effectively with all internal departments and build rapport externally with vendors and service providers
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in business/supply chain operations or related field is required along with Master's degree preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years' senior leadership experience in a similar capacity. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
· Critical experience includes exposure to high volume/value commodity purchases - familiar with hedging and operations of the commodity markets.
· Strong analytical, organizational, communication skills
· Strong enterprise systems and data analysis skills are a must as well as and familiarity with automated forecasting/inventory management systems.
Salary: $200,000+ strong bonus incentive and excellent benefits
