Job OverviewWe are in search of a strategic and accomplished leader to become part of a rapidly expanding, privately-held organization within the veterinary sector. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the operations of 100-125+ veterinary hospitals throughout the Pacific Northwest, California, and Arizona. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is pivotal in driving operational excellence, achieving corporate objectives, and nurturing a collaborative culture across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and manage operations across a network of 100-125+ veterinary hospitals, ensuring the achievement of performance benchmarks and operational excellence.Deliver strategic guidance and operational support to divisional leaders and regional managers.Cultivate and maintain strong, supportive relationships with hospital leadership and staff to promote a positive, results-oriented culture.Facilitate the recruitment and retention of talented veterinarians and support staff.Oversee the integration of newly acquired hospitals to guarantee alignment with the organization's high standards.Travel approximately 50% of the time to support hospitals and collaborate with teams in the field.Required Skills
Extensive operational management experience, preferably in high-growth environments with multiple locations.Proficiency in M&A, organic growth strategies, or the development of multi-site operations.Strong financial acumen and strategic business insight.Competency in analyzing complex data to inform operational improvements.Exceptional leadership capabilities and a proven track record in building a cohesive team culture.Qualifications
