As part of their team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental compliance across all operations, both in the plant and in the field. They are seeking a Safety and Environmental Specialist to lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Your role will involve developing and coordinating safety and environmental programs, creating training materials, and conducting audits to ensure adherence to all safety guidelines. You will be responsible for managing work comp claims, investigating accidents and near-miss incidents, and working closely with project management to address safety-related matters on the job site.In addition to maintaining safety and health standards, you will oversee environmental programs such as stormwater and air quality, ensuring compliance with EPA and OSHA guidelines. You will be the primary point of contact for all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) audits and will help ensure that contractors are following the company?s safety protocols.
