Overview:

The Sitter department is housed within Nursing Resources, a group of departments that allocate resources to patient care areas throughout the system to assist in providing safe care environments.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Safety Assistant II position works under the supervision of licensed nursing staff,provides close observation of patients. Assists patients with activities of daily living. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• Basic Life Support *(BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

Compensation

• $11.29-$18.45/hr based on previous work experience.
