Mission: The Asset Recovery Specialist's primary goal is to effectively manage their territory, dealer, or product/account assignments (territory) and build productive professional relationships with dealers, haulers, and contractors to maintain an efficient retrieval of RTO National / RTO Finance assets or keep the customer in the lease agreement, whichever is more appropriate. The Asset Recovery Specialist plays a vital role in our ability to operate. Outcomes
- Work with dealers and contractors to retrieve our leased inventory in a timely and/or contractual manner.
- Review new and existing retrievals with the goal of either keeping the customer in the lease agreement or working with the dealer/contractor to retrieve the unit.
- Maintain fees to departmental standards (retrieval and attempt fees).
- Maintain other departmental standards such as quality assurance and process/policy adherence.

Tasks:
- Activate new retrieval orders.
- Make outbound calls or send texts and emails to dealers/contractors for updates on retrieval assignments.
- Review and submit knock fee and pickup fees for approval.
- Terminate retrieved units.
- Review and receive approval for repair fees from dealers.
- Source new contract drivers for assigned territory
- Adhere to Company procedures/policies.
- Other duties as assigned or necessary.
QualificationsWork Experience: Experience in a similar role within an asset finance environment with knowledge in collections, repossession, litigation, and remarketing processes.Education: High school Diploma or GED required.** Bilingual in Spanish/English is required for this role**This position is subject to a background check and drug screening.
