We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Demolition and Abatement Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing demolition and abatement tasks at various job sites across the United States. This role requires travel and the ability to access military bases or federal installations without restrictions.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform demolition and abatement tasks in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for demolition and abatement work.
- Ensure proper handling, removal, and disposal of hazardous materials according to established protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- Abatement Certification: Certification in hazardous material abatement is required.
- Base/Federal Installation Access: Must have the ability to access military bases or federal installations without issues.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel nationwide to job sites as required.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with a commitment to reliability, punctuality, and quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various environments.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to OSHA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in demolition or abatement work.
- Familiarity with hazardous material handling and disposal processes.
