The Monett R-1 School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate fourth or fifth grade teacher at the Monett Intermediate School for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is responsible for teaching core subjects, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting the developmental and academic growth of students.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in subjects including reading, math, science, and social studies.
- Develop and implement differentiated instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues, school staff, and parents to support student learning and development.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and intervention as needed.
- Maintain effective classroom management and address behavior issues aligned with school practices.
- Participate in professional development and school-related activities, including meetings and events.
Qualifications:
