Job Summary:

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Technical Support Consultant to join the team of a client based in Topeka, Kansas. This position will focus on providing Level II technical support and administration to internal employees. The ideal candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving LAN and client-server data and communication issues. The role requires a solid understanding of various network operating systems, communications protocols, and network equipment configuration. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and installation of computer hardware, including peripheral equipment and systems.
  • Provide technical assistance to end-users, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  • Resolve technical issues for users both in-person, remotely, and over the phone.
  • Assist users with software and hardware utilization, including tasks related to printing, installation, word processing, email, and operating systems.
  • Offer training and support on hardware and software to users in both classroom and one-on-one settings.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in providing IT support in a distributed computing environment.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving both hardware and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in an IT support context.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
