Description:
We are seeking an Executive Assistant that will be a trusted, right-hand to the President of Land Innovations. This pivotal role involves strategically assisting the President with the day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives of LI throughout Middle Tennessee and North Alabama. The EA will work to ensure effective execution of business priorities through strategic planning, email and schedule management, fostering and reinforcing LI's culture, and taking on on special projects and tasks within our developments.
This role requires a candidate that is resourceful, can proactively manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and thrive in an environment of goal and objective focused direction. Most importantly, we are very interested in finding a candidate that passionately believes in LI's mission to rethink land development by Connecting Land, Life, and Legacy.
Responsibilities:
- Anticipate the President's needs and proactively address any issues to facilitate smooth operations and provide top-level support.
- Manage the President's calendar, appointments, and meetings, ensuring efficient scheduling and effective task prioritization.
- Oversee the President's email accounts and manage correspondence promptly, prioritizing and screening incoming communications such as emails, phone calls, and mail, and responding or redirecting as needed.
- Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, presentations, reports, contracts, and other key documents on behalf of the President.
- Assist in the planning and execution of meetings, events, and conferences involving the President, including logistical coordination and agenda preparation.
- Oversee and creatively manage the LI social media accounts that reinforces the company brand (website, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
- Serve as a key assistant to the President in reinforcing the LI culture by organizing, executing, and assisting with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-site meetings, team social events, partner engagement, etc.)
- Assist the President in monitoring, validating, and confirming project billings and invoices
- Creation of the “LI Way” manual and improving the new hire orientation process

What we are looking for:

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information and confidential matters.
- Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and a readiness to embrace new challenges as needed.
- Insatiable curiosity
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Excels at organizing events and/or activities while being mindful of budgets
- Ability to write and manage the company's social media efforts
- Proficient in Microsoft and Apple software suites.
- Previous experience with basic video editing software and Adobe creative suite is a plus
- Proactive management skills that can handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, establish budgets, and prioritize effectively
- Exemplifies grit - the combination of perseverance, passion, and hustle
- Ideally the candidate has experience with reading and reviewing legal documents, invoices, budgets, proposals, learning and using software tools, etc.
