About the facility A cancer center attached to the hospital is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage. About the facility location Johnstown, Pennsylvania boasts a symphony orchestra, a nationally recognized Folk Fest, a gallery of the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, and a branch campus of the University of Pittsburgh. There is all of that and more within the northern city. About the clinician's workday This opportunity involves a mix of clinic work, hospital rounding, and call duties, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM. The facility uses Epic EMR and has a patient volume of 12-15 per day. The team includes two other medical oncologists, APPs, RNs, and full support staff. Board certification in medical oncology is required, along with an active Pennsylvania license or eligibility through the IMLC.
