Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in the network security engineering field
• Experience working with Cisco ASA and F5 Load Balancer
• Experience managing SIEM tools
• Experience managing and troubleshooting firewalls specially Palo Alto
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Plusses:

• Master's Degree
• Experience developing, configuring and maintaining Linux and Windows Operating Systems
• CompTIA Security+ or CCNA or CISSP certification

Day to Day:

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Security Systems Engineers to join their team in Melbourne, FL. This team is a managed network provider for a 365/24/7 network. The Engineer will act as the primary engineering support to network security operations for the testing and evaluation of new Security products and services.

Other responsibilities include:

-Supervise the technical work of junior security engineers to perform systems engineering design, testing and implementation of network security infrastructure and services.

-Perform enterprise security gateway access control, baseline configuration management and system performance testing to ensure requirements compliance.

-Manage and maintain enterprise configuration and provide internal and external tier 2/3 technical support for the following major systems: Develop, maintain and publish network security technical documentation in accordance with the clients Systems Engineering processes.

Compensation:

$43/hr to $53/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
