Pay Range: $25 - $28/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan .
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and or electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of all manufacturing and facilities equipment.
- Supervise the upgrades/modifications to all equipment in order to maintain an “As New Status” (Includes function and appearance).
- Identify key areas for improvement and execute the corrective action.
- Manage and execute small scale equipment & facility projects.
- Perform and execute Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Execute equipment startup, equipment support and calibration.
- Supervise contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc) and coordinate mechanical assemblies.
- Communicate in timely manor relevant information pertaining specific programs and engineering disciplines.
- Lead FMEAs for equipment upgrades, changes or obsolescence.
- Utilize Root Cause Analysis in problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Train/Mentor Maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and problem solving.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills: Construction/Contractor management, mechanical aptitude, P&ID's/structural/mechanical/electrical prints .
- Knowledgeable of engineering principles and common commercial components and the ability to apply them.
- PLC knowledge and experience.
- Lean experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of engineering standards and safety codes.
- Working knowledge of facility related infrastructure, boilers, compressors, etc.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and processes
- Working knowledge of MS applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Understanding of AutoCAD use and application, working knowledge a plus.
- Three to five years of applicable experience in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering disciplines.
- Or entry level with a Bachelors degree in mechanical, chemical engineering or equivalent experience is required.
