Job Description :

Are you passionate about ensuring products meet the highest quality standards? We're looking for a dedicated Quality Control Analyst to join our client's team in Columbus, OH. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in making sure our products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Identifying and reporting on quality data both internally and externally.
  • Conducting a variety of quality control tests on products at different stages of production to ensure they meet reliability standards.
  • Recording and analyzing statistical data to improve quality processes.
  • Suggesting modifications or new standards, methods, or procedures to improve quality.
  • Facilitating effective communication between management and production operators.
  • Preparing and reviewing documents for ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 internal audits.
  • Performing visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with customer requirements, as well as reviewing vendor documentation for accuracy.
  • Assigning tasks and reviewing work with quality technicians.
  • Overseeing floor quality control issues, ensuring daily problems are addressed, and making decisions based on established criteria.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience providing Quality Systems training to employees
  • Familiarity with guage/inspection processes
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills (Green Belt a plus)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Management systems
  • Working knowledge of statistical process controls preferably in the plastics industry
  • Manufacturing experience within a high volume/fast moving environment. Consumer goods experience a plus.
  • Strong experience in process, product and systems audits
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, QA applications and general math
  • Strong communication skills
