Job Description :

The GREAT STATE TEAM is seeking a Special Services Coordinator to join our team! As a Special Services Coordinator you would work closely with the operations team and are responsible for preparing consumer accounts for legal action. This includes identifying consumer accounts, filing, and maintaining post judgment actions such as garnishments, executions, and transcription and docketing of judgments while ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry skills, the ability to interpret legal documents, and the capability to quickly adapt to changes and new processes. Experience with legal terminology or litigation is highly beneficial. **Veterans and Military Spouses Encouraged to Apply**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely and accurate communication with consumers when they call while legal action is pending and communicates with attorneys and clients for accounts in the litigation process
  • Submits and approves legal referrals for specified clients
  • Runs and reviews reports to ensure all accounts that should be referred for legal action are sent to the designated attorneys
  • Prepares accounts for suit after the client has returned the suit authorization
  • Gathers and sends all necessary paperwork and electronic documents that the agency's attorney
  • Follow up and review of all accounts with legal action pending to ensure action is timely and efficient
  • Enters information received from Attorney Status reports
  • Prepares and sends satisfactions to the court
  • Maintains legal collection file to ensure wait dates are current and accounts are worked within client and company guidelines
  • Performs transaction processes such as posting, balance and updating court costs and attorney fees
  • Reviews accounts in 4 and 5 phase dispositions
  • Update status fee report monthly
  • Completes special projects or work duties as directed by manager
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of legal terminology and the ability to interpret legal documents.
  • Experience in handling garnishments is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
