CNC Process / Application Engineer - ManufacturingMachine Tool SolutionsNo TravelResponsibilities:Associates degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Machine Tool Technology or Manufacturing3+ years of manufacturing experience with CNC machining, tooling design, and process engineeringMust have CAD/CAM software, CNC programming and tooling selectionStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot tooling and machining issuesExpert ability to reduce tooling costs, optimize tool life and increase machine uptimeKnowledge of tooling design, CNC machine operation and machining setupLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologiesUnderstand materials, including metals and composites, and their machining propertiesAbility to drive quality initiatives to ensure optimum performance and durabilityLead, train and provide technical support to line personnel on tooling selection, usage, and best practicesDevelop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation related to CNC tooling and machining processes
