About Us:

Massena Telephone Company (MTC) is a full-service communications provider serving Massena, Wiota, and surrounding areas in Southwest Iowa with FTTH internet and voice services. We are currently expanding our operations to Atlantic, Iowa. We also provide fixed-wireless internet in Adams County, Iowa. MTC is in an unprecedented growth phase, and we are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Team Leader to help drive our success to the next level. Position Overview:

The Technical Team Leader will lead a team of two technicians and report directly to the General Manager. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role that requires a mix of technical skills, team management, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and participate in the installation and troubleshooting of internet services for residential and business customers.

• Conduct fiber splicing, cable locating, and inspections of plant installations.

• Lead the team in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the communications network.

• Lifting, digging, and operating equipment will be expected in all weather conditions.

• Communicate effectively with management, contractors, community leaders, and customers.

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa driver's license.

• Ability to pass a background check.

• Hands-on experience with network installation, fiber splicing, cable locating, and related technical tasks.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Proficiency in collaborating with various stakeholders and delivering excellent customer service.

• Physical capability to handle outdoor work and demanding conditions.
