They currently looking for strong electrical/electronic candidates to work as Field Service Technicians in their Southern California (San Diego and LA) and their Texas region (Houston, Dallas). As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in the organization's success of their field service operation. You will assist in commissioning, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, and maintaining energy storage systems in the field. Both domestically and internationally. You will provide onsite support independently and work with a field service engineer to accomplish assigned tasks.Key responsibilities include:- Assisting Field Engineers in commissioning large energy systems- Independently commissioning smaller systems, and lead the technicians in assigned tasks- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on energy systems, either independently or within a team- Use company tools to manage work orders and update information accurately- Write detailed reports, address customer concerns, and maintain knowledge of company and third-party products, as well as the National Electric Code (NEC)- Work with low to high voltage DC electricity, three-phase power, and related software while ensuring proper care of tools and equipmentThe hiring Manager has a long history hiring veteran talent. Looking for folks who enjoy the field service travel lifestyle. Travel for this role is 75%. You will usually be gone 3 weeks a month (sometimes less) and you will have a week of at home admin work.Base salary, $80K - $100K, with bonus potential, per diem, benefits, a 401k stock program. Company credit card, can use your own for points if you would like, laptop, tool, travel, car rentals all paid for on the road. You are paid the minute that you walk out the door and travel time.
