For many Living Resources employees, their work becomes an experience where they find fulfillment and develop both personally and professionally.The Deputy Director of Quality Assurance is responsible to lead the overall quality assurance initiatives across Living Resources, ensures compliance to regulatory requirements, improving organizational efficiency and enhancing quality outcomes. The position collaborates closely with all programs, services and leadership to drive consistency and excellence in quality standards.
- Responsible for quality assurance efforts across the organization, focusing on regulatory compliance and provide strategic direction to improve quality performance initiatives
- Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance programs, policies, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage internal and external audits of program services
- Monitor compliance with industry standards and oversee the implementation of plans of corrective action (POCA's) and ensure they are followed through to completion
- Oversee ongoing program surveys with internal and external stakeholders and develop action plans based on results
- Collaborate with leadership and program directors to implement quality systems and training that enhance performance and service delivery
- Assist with organization-wide risk management analysis and activities related to quality assurance
- Serve as the lead coordinator for all quality-related audits and inspections, ensuring timely preparation and follow-up
- Supervise the Quality Assurance team, including oversight of quality inspection tools, reports, and documentation systems
- Participate in local, state, and federal policy meetings to stay current with evolving compliance requirements
Requirements
- High School diploma and 10 years' experience working in the field, Associate degree and at least 7 years' experience working in the field; or Bachelor's degree with 5 years' experience preferred
- OPWDD certified program experience is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory oversight is required
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
