Senior Safety Manager (10+ Years of Highway Experience)

Oversees the running of the project in a safety capacity: ensuring we are following safe procedures and keeping everyone out of harm's way. Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across the project, functions, and locations (areas and segments). Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems, and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action. Making sure project follows safety specifications mandated by contract, state, and federal agencies. Making sure work environment is safe environment for all employees. Effectively develop and apply the core skills to the job. Assists or gives safety training for individuals on site. Meets expectations on attendance and punctuality. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Qualifications Minimum 10 years Large Highway experience and 15 years total Experience.
