Overview

Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry, Infiltrator manufactures a variety of revolutionary products and innovative, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional stone and pipe leachfield and concrete septic wastewater system components. IWT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Drainage Systems (ticker: WMS, NYSE).

The majority of our products are produced almost entirely from recycled resins. Infiltrator's recycling operation is among the country's top twenty producers / consumers of recycled resins and among only a few of whom consume 100% of that resin in the finished products produced. Infiltrator operates some of largest molding machines and robotics producing the largest plastic molded parts in the world. IWT has always and continues to compete on innovation; we hold over 200 patents.

ResponsibilitiesPOSITION OVERVIEW:

The Staff accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations for IWT. The position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with the ability to adapt to time sensitive project requests. This individual will work with other departments to complete weekly tasks and will need to be able to communicate effectively.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Staff Accountant, you will assist with certain activities related to monthly financial statement reporting such preparing/posting journal entries, maintenance of general ledger and variance analysis. This includes recording and analyzing production of finished goods and preparing monthly balance sheets reconciliations. Assist in special projects as needed directed by the Controller including physical inventory events, budget updates, and account analysis.

In addition, you will:

  • Review manufacturing cost variance and related reports.
  • Work with establishing new part number set ups and Bill of Materials.
  • Work with Accounts Payable team to review vendor statements.

Other:

  • Assist with quarterly forecast updates
  • Assist with preparation of external audit selections
  • Assist with month-end close
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (must have):

BS in Accounting

2-3 years related accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing environment

Strong communication (oral and written) and relationship building skills

Must be proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products

JDE or other related ERP systems experience a plus
