The Chemistry/ Process Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing chemistry and process testing on products made at Michael Foods facilities. This includes receiving, testing and reporting the results for the samples received. Compliance to following the methodology/ SOPs established for testing is required. It is every employees responsibility to comply with safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce safety as a core value. Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to food safety & quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability. ACITIVITIES: Ensures regulatory compliance at all times. Practices Good Laboratory Practices (GL - Ps). Receives and prepares raw, in-process, and finished product samples for chemical and /or process analysis. Maintains accurate and legible documentation.
