Summary
Connect Search is hiring a 1st Shift Production Supervisor in Fort Atkinson. Hours for the role are 4am - 2pm, M-Th.
Responsibilities
- Safety Leadership: Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring adherence to all safety policies, conducting safety tours, and encouraging near-miss/accident reporting.
- Team Management: Maintain a flexible, cross-trained workforce to meet production demand. Collaborate with the Production Trainer to implement training plans and track progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize lean manufacturing tools (5S, one-piece flow, standard work, etc.) to drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Financial Management: Manage labor and material variances, factory burden, and overtime while contributing to budget and capital expenditure planning.
- Supervisor Standard Work: Lead daily huddles, monitor production schedules, approve labor reporting, and audit shop orders and payroll.
- Performance Management: Conduct annual performance reviews, maintain discipline records, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing production supervisor role.
- Associate's degree in Production Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in ISO 9001-2015 and lean manufacturing principles.
