Position: Warehouse Manager

Location: Oxford, NC

Pay: $25/hour

Experience: 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm

Greene Resources is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
  • Coordinate the movement of raw materials to production and finished goods to distribution.
  • Monitor warehouse workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement and monitor warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and order status.
  • Manage warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure optimal storage capacity.
  • Ensure proper documentation for goods received, transferred, and shipped.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with procurement to manage raw material supply and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve high levels of productivity and safety.
  • Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs and manage team schedules effectively.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement.

Position Requirements:

  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong leadership experience, including team development and management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in fast-paced settings.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in an industrial setting.
