The Clerk-Welcome Information Center greets and assists customer visiting the Medical Center. This position facilitates guest and customer concerns by keeping patients and families informed and being the initial Team Member customers will encounter while visiting the Medical Center. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties: Greets customers upon entry into the Medical Center and provides information as requested while maintaining patient confidentiality. Monitors and screens visitors and team members upon entry to the facility according to specific guidelines. Courteously answers phone calls, routes calls and provides information to internal and external customers, team members and medical staff. Operates main phone system by answering incoming, interoffice, patient information and emergency calls.
