Job Description :

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Process Control Systems Specialist to join their team. As a Process Control Systems Specialist, you will be part of the Project Engineering department supporting a diverse team of manufacturing plant operations and technical/engineering personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a self-starter attitude, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Okmulgee, Oklahoma

What's the Job?

  • Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineers to identify business requirements and propose innovative improvements.
  • Engage with the engineering team to define and implement process control and instrumentation projects.
  • Provide technical and operational expertise for the daily support of process control systems and infrastructure.
  • Interface with vendors and personnel to assist in the purchasing and deployment of solutions.
  • Troubleshoot control systems hardware and software failures for Delta V and Microsoft systems.

What's Needed?

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or Electronics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining process control systems or Windows-based networks.
  • Self-starter with excellent troubleshooting skills, available for on-call support during off hours and weekends.
  • Working knowledge of OPC and PI Data Historian.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Delta V DCS, OSI PI, and Microsoft Windows Servers.
