REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for warehouse optimization to include layout and infrastructure projects and process improvements in Honickman Warehouse Operations in partnership with site leadership:

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within warehouse operations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize warehouse space utilization and efficiency.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline processes and improve operational performance and productivity measurements.
  • Define and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives aimed at improving workflow, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse management and operations.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities across the region/enterprise.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to build and optimize staffing levels based on productivity initiatives and sales volume adjustments (Annual Operating Plan construct).
  • Automation project analysis and implementation strategy.
  • Act as a liaison between operations, IT, and other departments to drive alignment and facilitate effective communication.
  • Partner with Facilities Engineering on occupancy cost management.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years' experience in operations, logistics, and warehousing.
  • 3+ years' experience in data analysis and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with WMS and ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
  • Experience working in a union environment.
  • Experience working with an automated system.

COMPENSATION RANGE: Potential earning is from $123,800.00 to $159,700.00 annually.
