REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for warehouse optimization to include layout and infrastructure projects and process improvements in Honickman Warehouse Operations in partnership with site leadership:
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within warehouse operations.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies to optimize warehouse space utilization and efficiency.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline processes and improve operational performance and productivity measurements.
- Define and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives aimed at improving workflow, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehouse management and operations.
- Identify cost savings opportunities across the region/enterprise.
- Collaborate with site leadership to build and optimize staffing levels based on productivity initiatives and sales volume adjustments (Annual Operating Plan construct).
- Automation project analysis and implementation strategy.
- Act as a liaison between operations, IT, and other departments to drive alignment and facilitate effective communication.
- Partner with Facilities Engineering on occupancy cost management.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years' experience in operations, logistics, and warehousing.
- 3+ years' experience in data analysis and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with WMS and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
- Experience working in a union environment.
- Experience working with an automated system.
COMPENSATION RANGE: Potential earning is from $123,800.00 to $159,700.00 annually.
