Job Description:

The Operations Engineer I is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of natural gas facilities and infrastructure. This role will assist in the monitoring, evaluation, and optimization of production processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role works to achieve operational targets under close supervision. Requires the ability to explain facts, policies and practices related to the area of work. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency.

  • Analyze production data and performance reports to identify trends, inefficiencies and potential issues.
  • Work closely with operations, engineers and other team members to support operational objectives.
  • Ensure that production equipment and systems are operating efficiently and safely. Assist with diagnosis and resolution of operational and equipment issues, coordinating with field personnel and maintenance teams.
  • Participate in the optimization of equipment and processes to reduce downtime and increase output.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
  • Ensure that operations adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of operational procedures, maintenance activities and performance data.
  • Update and document changes to operational procedures and protocols.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate training for new team members and/or field personnel as needed.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects aimed at improving or expanding production capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree required. Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering degree preferred.

  • Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of engineering principles. Knowledge of natural gas production equipment and systems, including compressors, separators, pumps, and pipelines preferred.
  • Ability to assess problems systematically and develop effective solutions. Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications. Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Details:

-Location: Fort Worth, Texas

-Pay Rate: $50-$53/hr

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour
