POSITION SUMMARY
Directs the financial functions of the Cooperative in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and practices appropriate within the industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, develop, implement, manage and evaluate the organization's financial functions and performance including overseeing general accounting, financial planning/forecasting, budgeting, tax processing and coordinating the annual audit process.Manage working capital resources including cash investment and short-term lines of credit.Review and report monthly financial statements.Coordinates cost of services studies and rates designs with CEO.Analyze projects for financial viability.Prepare financial data and budgets for grant applications.Manage all functions of the warehouse.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, emphasis in accounting or finance is required.Ten years of experience in accounting required.Knowledge of utility accounting is preferred.Analytical skills and a proven ability to guide others and coordinate/manage tasks are essential.Ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships among cross functional teams.Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Driver's License.Must possess computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.Must possess good aptitude for computerized accounting systems and attention to detail.Must adhere to the Cooperative's safety manual, policies, procedures, service rules and regulations.Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with consumers and coworkers.WorkKeys: Reading for Information – 5, Applied Mathematics – 6, Locating Information – 5.#J-18808-Ljbffr
