Role Overview:

The Patient Care Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through a variety of delegated tasks related to basic patient care and daily living activities. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe care environment while supporting the nursing staff and ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

Duties Include:

  • Implementing nursing care plans by delivering both direct and indirect patient care.
  • Recording patient information and vital signs as part of the ongoing care process.
  • Assisting with patient mobility and daily activities including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Supporting the collection of diagnostic specimens and ensuring accuracy in labeling.
  • Engaging in safety practices and communication strategies to enhance the patient experience.

Your Qualifications:

  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 90 days of employment.
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
